Wade and Artz tie for top spot
Brian Wade and Jane Artz tied for top spot in yesterday’s (Sunday) fourth round of the Up and Running Winter Walking League.
They completed the handicap event at Ronaldsway in a time of one hour 19 minutes and six seconds, - seven seconds ahead of Julie Barlow.
Rob Clynes, Colin Crennell, Ian Callister and Karen Lawrie completed the top six.
On actual time, the winner was Erika Kelly (50.38) from Chris Cale and Tony Edwards.
Sarah Bassett took the 5km honours from Nick Wallinger and the evergreen Ron Ronan – Adam Cowin the quickest on actual time from Hannah Hunter and Rebecca Greatbach.
Alice Bellando won the 3km race from Shaun Miller. Abbie Edwards edged out Daniel Bassett in the 2km and Olivia Corran came out on top in the 1km.
