Manx swimmer Grant Halsall has received a welcome boost to support his training efforts, thanks to Britannia International.
Grant is currently based off-Island at the Plymouth Leander College where he attends one of the UK's leading swimming programmes for athletes aged 10-18 years.
Britannia have given him an underwater camera to aid his training programme.
Grant’s coach, John Rudd - former Britain's Young Swimming Coach of the Year and Head Coach of several British swim teams - said, "The beauty of this camera is that it allows us to monitor Grant's technique under the water whenever we need to or he wants us to.
"It's completely portable so I can take it to swim meets or on training camps when we are away from Plymouth."
The combined swimming study programme offers many unique benefits, which allow young athletes to flourish both in the pool and in the classroom.
The scholarship scheme has developed many aspiring young athletes and swimmers into national champions and medallists and ensured regular selections for both England and Great Britain teams.
