Vagabonds B beat Castletown 41-3 in miserable conditions at Poulsom Park to take this season’s Shimmin Wilson Manx Shield.
A first half hat-trick from number eight Kim Tomlinson, a try from Arno Cruywagen and a conversion from Johnny Beckley gave Vagas a 22-0 half-time lead.
Jack Rowlands, Cruywagen and Beckley all crossed for second half tries with Michael Oates kicking two conversions in his last appearance before retirement.
Castletown’s consolation score was a penalty from John Forrest.
It was Vagabonds’ first Shield success since the 2003/04 season.
