Vagabonds’ strong home form continued with a 12-8 victory over Glossop at Glencrutchery Road in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.
The visitors raced into an early 8-0 lead but a first half try from Simon Heggs, converted by Leigh Kennaugh, kept Vagas in the game.
An Andy Pease try was the only score in a tight second half and was enough to give Vagas the spoils.
