Vagas took the early initiative when Ross McCulloch intercepted and went in from 50 metres.
Jonny Beckley converted the try and Vagas were sitting pretty.
The visitors hit back when they were awarded a penalty try which Ben Elliott converted.
Beckley put Vagas back in front though with a penalty which left them leading 10-7 at the break.
A Will Armstrong try put Winnington Park in front early in the second half and Elliott stretched the lead to 15-10 with a penalty.
Vagas hit back with a try from Akkie van der Berg and with 10 minutes to go the game was level at 15-15.
Two late penalties from Elliott sealed the game for Winnington Park.
