
Vagabonds B beat Douglas B 20-15 to take an early lead in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy.
Douglasā powerful pack took control early on in the game and they ran out a 15-0 lead after tries from Paul Game, Ben Dutnall and Noel Capewell.
Vagas hit back though with a Jack Moore penalty and a try from prop Jo Louw which Moore converted, to trail 15-10 at the break.
With the wind behind them in the second half, Vagas were soon ahead.
Skipper Jay Kruger wriggled over for a try and Moore converted from out wide to take the lead 17-15.
Moore added a penalty in the closing stages to make the game safe.
