Westerners keen to maintain 100 per cent record
Bacchas A suffered a significant blow to their title hopes on Tuesday night when they fell to a late Tom Wilson winner in a 4-3 defeat to Vikings A.
They'll be hoping to bounce back in the PwC Mixed Premier League this weekend.
Next up for them is Valkyrs A, who have won two from two so far this season.
The westerners have registered a 2-1 scoreline in both games, with four different scorers.
Their man to watch is likely to be Luis Novo-Smith - who will be familiar to the likes of Andy Whiting, Jamie Brown and Jonny Callow in the Bacchas ranks as they were in the same Island team that contested the PLUM tournament two weeks ago.
The Cronkbourne side will still be considered favourites for the match but it Valkyrs will be keen to exploit any low morale in the team following that midweek loss.
