Sam Hassall netted the winner with a sensational drag flick from a penalty corner after Lucy Kinrade had given the Cronkbourne side a slender half-time advantage.
Captain Kim Carney struck for Vikings, who drop to fourth after a difficult few weeks on and off the pitch.
