Ramsey win in Vase
Vikings women have been knocked out of the second round of the English Hockey Women’s Trophy.
They put up a spirited showing in going down 2-1 to Leeds Adel, tough opponents, on Sunday.
Louise Slater was the scorer for Vikings who were close to an equaliser in the closing stages.
Ramsey women won in the second round of the English Hockey Vase.
They saw off Stockport Bramhall 5-2, the goals from Ellen Robinson, Charlotte Oldfield, Christina Kermeen, plus two strikes from Vicki Garner.
They will play in the quarter-finals next March.
