Heritage and Micro F2s reflect on their Manx meetings
Hundreds turned out over three meetings at Onchan Raceway last week, as they watched a host of skilled drivers and vintage cars compete for glory in the Isle of Man.
Among those at the wheel included 14 youngsters - who had travelled over from various parts of the United Kingdom - aged between eight and ten-years-old in the Micro F2s.
A multitude of heritage cars also took to the track on Monday, Thursday and Saturday; the first time this class of vehicle had featured on Manx tarmac in a decade.
Paul Sykes of Wallasey and Leamington Spa driver Phil Hickerton spoke to Manx Radio Sport about their experience:
The domestic stock car season continues at Onchan Raceway weekly on Monday night's from 7.30pm.
