Manx club faced UK sides during competition at NSC
It was double-success at the weekend for Volleyball IoM as the club hosted their first ever UK invitiational tournament on Manx soil at the weekend.
The Island club fielded two men's teams and a women's team as they welcomed UK sides Warrington Wolves and Garstang Natives to compete in a series of matches at the National Sports Centre on Saturday (21 May).
An entertaining schedule of fixtures saw both final games go to three sets.
By the time the fixtures came to an end, the Isle of Man men's and women's teams both claimed first place in their respective divisions.
There were positives as well on the day for the Warrington Wolves squad, as two of their players - David Wignell and Maria Sakizli took the tournament MVP awards.
