High scores at Blue Point

David ‘Wilfy’ Walton was in dominant form as he won the third round of the Down the Line winter league at Blue Point on Sunday.

 

He shot 50 straight in very cold conditions at Ayre Clay Target Club, shooting with two second barrels for a points score of 148.

Marty Kneen and Phil Ward were joint second on 48/141.

A Class: 1, Wilfy Walton 50/148; 2 (joint), Marty Kneen and Phil Ward 48/141.

B Class: 1, Dave Corlett 43/127; 2, James Bradley 43/126; 3, Nigel Moffatt 41/117.

C Class: 1, George Boles 33/97.
