1,000+ cyclists expected to take part
Heavy rain is expected to make today’s Gran Fondo Isle of Man ‘more challenging than normal’.
Organisers say the Gran, Medio and Piccolo events will start as scheduled (23 July).
That’s 9.30am, 9.45am and 10am respectively.

Riders are being told to take ‘additional caution’ especially when descending the course.
More than 1,000 competitors from 14 different countries are expected to take part.
Local rider Beckie Storrie is the favourite to take the women’s title.
