David Knight has climbed to the top of the United States Grand National Cross Country Series by claiming round seven in Kentucky.
The Ballaugh man notched up his third win of the season on a very difficult course. At one point he dropped back to fourth after falling off, but managed to claw back the lead.
Knight now has a slim one point advantage over Charlie Mullins, from Ohio.
The next round is in Snowshoe on June 23 and 24.
