Leading 1-0 at the break half-time, the eventually wore down the westerners thanks to a Lisa Costain hat-trick and a Hattie Castle double.
Castletown also got their Cup campaign off to a winning start, defeating Old Boys 2-0.
After a goalless first half, Dawn Winn and Shirley Tung netted for the Reds.
