Coach has eyes on international competition
Summer is upon us and it brings with it the cricket season, a sport known to be male dominated on the Isle of Man and indeed worldwide.
Isle of Man Cricket Association coach Sally Green is hoping to change this.
Currently, fewer than ten female players compete in the local league.
Sally is striving to develop women and girls cricket on the Island, with eyes on a competitive team to represent the Isle of Man on the world stage.
She says there's a growing demand for cricket by women who want to compete at a higher level, including current U12 Island team captain- Lucy Barnett.
