Chris Bass junior has capped a superb season by being named Manx writers footballer of the year.
He was awarded the annual Gordon Clague Isle of Man Newspapers trophy on Thursday night.
Bass helped St George’s to three of the four major Manx honours during the season and also led the Isle of Man to victory in the FA Inter-League Cup.
He was also part of the Ellan Vannin squad which finished runners-up at the CONIFA World Cup in Sweden.
The award was presented to him by Tricia Clague, the widow of Gordon, a long-term supporter of Manx football who passed away in 2010.
