Ramsey Youth Centre showed their character to book a place in the Paul Henry Gold Cup final on Saturday.
They won an exciting five goal contest to end promotion rivals Douglas Athletics’ hopes of a cup double.
Athletic twice pegged them back but there was no denying Youth Centre who will now be promoted if they defeat Foxdale in JCK Division Two midweek.
Ollie Blaker and Stephen Jordan goals were cancelled out by the home side –Michael Callister netting twice for the Woods Cup winners – but Lewis Moran struck the winner just after the hour to seal a 3-2 victory.
