2025 MGP winner Canny to make TT debut

Donegal rider to join Scott Racing for maiden appearance

2025 Senior Manx Grand Prix winner, Caomhan Canny will make his Isle of Man TT Races debut later this year.

The rider from Donegal will compete across all solo classes on the Snaefell Mountain Course from Monday, 25 May to Saturday, 6 June.

Representing Scott Racing, he'll take on the Senior, Superbike and Superstock classes on board an Aprilia RSV4 and will campaign an Aprilia RS660 in the Sportbike category.

He'll run his own Suzuki GSX-R600 in the Supersport races which is entered under the Scott Racing structure.

On this opportunity, Canny says: "The aim was always the TT. Winning the Manx Grand Prix was a breakthrough, but the goal has always been to establish myself here and keep improving. 

"There are no expectations. Even completing the Senior TT would be a huge achievement. I’m happy to ride at a pace I’m comfortable with and keep learning."

After making his maiden mountain course appearance at MGP 2023, an injury-disrupted 2024 was followed by his first success on the course last year.

Along with a dramatic win in the Senior MGP race in 2025, he also claimed second spot in the earlier Supersport MGP contest and finished fifth in both the Junior MGP and Supertwin MGP races.

Meanwhile, Scott Racing Team Manager, Trevor Scott, adds: "Caomhan has shown what he’s capable of around the Mountain Course. This is his first TT, but he’s already demonstrated maturity and pace. 

"Our role is to provide the structure and support to allow him to progress in all classes."
