Second year of races on Mad Sunday
TT fans have mixed opinions about racing being held on 'Mad Sunday'.
This is the second year the superbike race has taken place on the middle Sunday of the fortnight.
It was traditionally a day off racing, but last year government said the revised schedule would increase visitor numbers and improve the offering for race fans.
One fan told Manx Radio he thought keeping Mad Sunday free of racing was an opportunity to "get all the incidents out the way at once".
He continued: "We've been getting incidents every single day, which I think is crazy. I think it should be compounded into one day."
However, another visitor said: "I think [the new schedule] is good. It gives you more days' racing over your stay".
Former Tynwald member Geoff Corkish told Manx Radio the changes had made the TT safer, and "anyone who crashes...is a bad advert for the Isle of Man."
The changes involved introducing warm up laps at the start of race days.
One visiting biker told Manx Radio: "They're shutting the roads two hours before any racing starts...we're here to enjoy our holiday as well. We love to see the racing...but I don't want to be sat there all day to watch one race".
