Injured racer taking part in parade lap
TT racer Lee Johnston says he’s ‘really looking forward’ to returning to the Mountain Course today (1 June).
He’s taking part in the one lap parade lap at 1.30pm which celebrates 40 years of Arai.
The event will feature TT riders past and present and will see Akihito Arai give the starting signal to riders in celebration of Arai and the TT’s historic partnership.
Johnston, who is currently injured, is part of the commentary team for TT 2024 after crashing at a circuit in Spain in February this year.
