MGP 2024: Former MPG winner and world champion English returns

Set to compete in two races at this year's event

Former Manx Grand Prix race winner, and FIM Classic Bike world champion, Glen English is due to return to the MGP this month.

English, who won the 2000 Classic Senior race, will ride for the Melbray London/Watch Vault/The Shed team.

The rider will take part in the three-lap 2 Wheeling Classics Classic Junior Manx Grand Prix on Friday 23 August and will compete on 350cc Honda K4.

He'll also compete in the four-lap Carole Nash Classic Senior race on Saturday, 24 August and will ride on a 500cc Manx Norton for the race.

The Cornish-man won the 2000 Classic Senior Manx Grand Prix and was named FIM World Classic Bike Champion in 2003.

In August last year, Glen spoke to Beth about his hope of returning to the MGP in the Journey to a Dream podcast.
