Organisers issue update as showers expected
Manx Grand Prix organisers say tonight's qualifying session could be affected by the wet weather.
Light showers are forecast this afternoon, and further rain is expected this evening.
Currently, the plan tonight is for roads to close at 6pm with the session getting underway at 6:30pm.

However, a further update and a decision on whether the session will go ahead will be issued by 3pm.
Meanwhile, it's also been confirmed that tomorrow's contingency session (Wednesday, 19 August) will be used, with roads scheduled to close at 12:30pm.
We're told we can expect a full schedule for tomorrow afternoon and evening 'in due course'.
