Kevin Quirk described as 'driving force' of the charity
Tributes are being paid following the death of a key member of the Joey Dunlop Foundation.
The organisation has confirmed the death of Kevin Quirk, one of the foundation's original trustees.
In a short statement, the foundation describes Mr Quirk as the 'driving force of the charity from its inception through to the completion of the accessible apartments at Braddan Bridge House.'
Furthermore, they describe Mr Quirk's commitment to the charity as 'truly admirable', adding its thoughts are with Mr Quirk's family and friends at this time.

"JDF are saddened to learn of the passing of founder Trustee, Kevin Quirk.
"Kevin was the main driving force of the charity from its inception through to the completion of the accessible apartments at Braddan Bridge House.
"The amount of time Kevin spent ensuring the Charity achieved its goal was truly admirable.
"Kevin unfortunately had to battle with ill health for many years following his departure from the Foundation.
"Our thoughts are with Kevin’s family and close friends at this sad time."
