He'll step away with two wins and 22 podiums in long-standing career
Sidecar driver John Holden has announced he'll retire from the TT after this year's races.
Holden boasts a record on the mountain course of two wins and 22 podiums, including finishing third in this year's Sidecar TT Race 1 with passenger, Maxime Vasseur last weekend.
He rounded off this final mountain course campaign this afternoon finishing seventh in the Sidecar TT Race 2.
But he's said it won't be the last time we see him on Island and we could see another member of his family out on the track in the coming years:
TT 2026: Michael Evans stays with Dafabet for second year
TT 2026: Paul Jordan extends with Jackson Racing for third year
Davey Todd's 2026 TT in doubt after breaking legs in Daytona
