Back in 2018, the first all-female expedition travelled to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch - the densest accumulation of marine plastic anywhere on earth.
Local marine biologist Rowan Henthorn was onboard.
The 14-strong international crew set sail on a month-long voyage, which saw them cross 3,000 nautical miles from Hawaii to Vancouver.
A filmmaker went along for the ride, and today, a documentary will be released capturing the journey.
