This week's One2Three Charity of the Week with Kelproperties.com is Looky's Aid, set up in memory of Lucas ‘Looky’ Martin, who died from meningitis in September 2023 at the age of 21. The charity helps young people to rise above the challenges that they face. Looky's Dad Brett tells us more. Looky's is also the chosen charity for this year's Isle of Man Festival of Motoring Sporting Bears Motor Club Dream Rides on Saturday 20th Sept.

Scran are in the Proms!

Manx youth supergroup Scran have been invited to play at the ROyal Albert Hall in November as part of the Manx Youth Proms 2025. Christy caught up with Aylith Braithwaite and Daniel Cross, who play harp and guitar in the group and Dr Chloe Woolley, the Music Development Manager from Culture Vannin. Mencap: supporting those with learning disabilities

Our charity of the week for Learning Disability Week 2025 is Manx Mencap. The term ‘learning disability’ is quite a broad brushstroke of course, and there are services users across the Island who will all have different requirements for support. Manx Mencap’s Fran Tinkler told me about some of the challenges and success stories that they are aware of.
