One of the most notable Manx number plates has fetched nearly £90,000 at an auction.
There was standing room only as '1 MAN' went under the hammer at the Mount Murray Golf and Country Club.
Two serious bidders were involved and the plate ultimately fetched £65,000.
However, once VAT and other charges were added on, that rose to more than £89,000.
The auction, organised by Murray’s Art Auctioneers and Valuers, also featured a variety of other automotive items, including memorabilia, cars and collectables.
