DEFA submits plans in popular Island activity area
Plans are in to expand a car park from five to 100 spaces at one of the Island's most popular beauty spots.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has submitted the application for the south side lot at Archallagan.
It says it's the most visited plantation on the Isle of Man and the south east corner parking bay is the smallest with five spaces, yet most convenient for drivers.
DEFA says the three car parks that serve Archallagan are insufficient for the increased activity seen in the area.
