11th hour help to beat tax deadline
Last-minute help is on hand today (Monday) for Island residents who want to file their tax return online.
Tomorrow (Oct 6) is the deadline for personal returns for the year ending April 2015 - if you miss it, you'll face a £100 fine.
The government's Income Tax Division wants as many people as possible to complete their returns online - a process they say is quicker and more efficient than filling-in paper forms.
A telephone help-line has been open all weekend to help people register and staff will be on hand again tonight between 5.30pm and 10pm.
The division's Gerard Higgins says it's the eleventh hour, but help is still available:
The number to call for help to enrol online is: 685400.
