The infrastructure minister believes 20mph speed limits should not be imposed on people if they do not want them.
Tim Crookall has been speaking to the media, this morning, for the first time since his appointment as minister of the Department of Infrastructure.
Addressing his appointment, following the sacking of Dr Michelle Haywood from the role, he says he was surprised but also delighted to go back.
He says currently, his department is looking at the legislation around the 20mph scheme and hopes to have a clearer picture by early next week.
