Figure revealed in the House of Keys
Seven hundred and seventy new public servants were appointed last year.

Kate Lord-Brennan was responding to questions posed by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He'd asked about pre-employment checks for prospective government staff during the application process or at a later date.
