Laxey man raising funds for charity in memory of late wife
An 83-year-old Laxey man will raise funds for a local charity and pay tribute to his late wife by taking part in an abseiling challenge this weekend.
Bob Leith will descend from the top of the TT Grandstand Tower on Glencrutchery Road at 10am on Sunday.
The event is in aid of the Live at Home charity, which helps 600 Manx resident to live independently.
Having previously abseiled down Maughold Head, Mr Leith says he's expecting a different challenge this time:
