Now law on the Island
The Abortion Reform Act has become law on the Island.
It was one of several acts promulgated during the formal ceremony on Tynwald Hill this morning.
The reform of the law regarding abortion has been highly contentious, as remarked on by commentator John Moss as it passed into the statute books.
