Two cars involved, no injuries
Fire crews were called to a road traffic accident at Middle River Industrial Estate this morning.
It happened just before 11am, near the Douglas Civic Amenity Centre, when two cars were involved in a collision.
The occupant of one of the vehicles was checked by paramedics at the scene as a precaution, due to an existing back injury.
They were later helped from the car without the need for further assistance - crews returned to their station some twenty minutes later.
