Chief minister tasks chief secretary to appoint impartial person
An expert to look into the severe flooding in Laxey should be appointed this week.
That's the hope of the chief minister who announced there'll be an independent review of events, at an extraordinary sitting of Tynwald yesterday.
Howard Quayle has tasked the chief secretary to 'find someone suitable'.
He says it's important the person appointed is completely impartial:
