Around 48% yet to file paperwork ahead of 6 October
Almost 4,000 people every year receive a fine for submitting their tax returns late.
That's according to the Income Tax Division as the 6 October deadline approaches.
Around 52% have already filed their paperwork, with more than 14,000 doing so online.
However, Gerard Higgins from the tax office says there are still some who miss the cut-off:
