Board initially raised concerns about drainage and flooding
The chair of Andreas Commissioners hopes a new housing development will encourage more people to move to the village.
Jackie Faragher says the board had concerns initially about drainage and flooding but believes the new estate will be 'grand'.
The application for 31 houses was approved by the Planning Committee with eight of those classed as affordable.
Ms Faragher thinks Andreas needs to grow.
