Opportunity to attend Irish summer school in Donegal
Applications are now open for the 2019 Kaneen Bursary.
The scheme gives two young Manx speakers the opportunity to attend a summer school in Irish language and culture, held in Donegal this summer.
Bursaries will cover all travel and accommodation costs, with successful applicants asked to write or record a blog in Manx Gaelic on their return.
The scheme is made possible by a legacy from the late Manx scholar Professor Brian Kaneen, to help develop a wider understanding of Gaelic cultures amongst young Manx speakers.
If you're aged 18-30, fluent in Manx and a resident of the Island, you're encouraged to apply.
