Applications welcomed until 17 August
The search is on to enthrone the greatest poet in the land.
Judges are on the hunt for the next Manx Bard.
Stacey Astill was the first to win the title in 2015 (actually, she was the second - T.E. Brown was posthumously made the inaugural Manx Bard the year before).
Arguably the Island's answer to John Cooper Clarke, John 'Dog' Callister, donned the iconic blue robes in 2016.
The current Manx Bard is Sara Goodwins.
But judges believe someone is out there, aged 18 or older, who can wow them with their wit and wordplay, performance and deftness of verse.
The closing date for entries is 17 August.
