Bonfire out of control yesterday - fire crews attended
Fire crews were called into action for three hours yesterday to tackle a blaze in the west of the Island.
Two engines were needed from Peel Fire Station to attend to a barn fire at Ballawyllin between Peel and St John's.
It's understood a bonfire got out of control - setting around 20 hay bales alight near to the barn.
The barn only received superficial damage due to the call made quickly to the emergency services - just after 6pm yesterday evening.
