Volunteers Pooil together
Local charity Beach Buddies turns its attention to the south this weekend, tackling rubbish build-up on the coastline between Scarlett and Pooil Vaaish.
Volunteers are asked to assemble at the Scarlett car park at 10:30 this morning (Sunday 13).
Today's session will involve more walking than some, but it's hoped the charity will see new helpers as it pushes towards the target of 10,000 volunteer cleaners by the autumn.
As usual, all are welcome, including children and well-behaved dogs and all rubbish collected will be recycled where possible.
The charity's founder Bill Dale has thanked the Watterson family for allowing access for the Beach Buddies truck through their fields.
