The leader of Beach Buddies, the volunteer coastal clean-up team, says he believes the importance of keeping Island beaches free from litter and pollution is finally hitting home.
Bill Dale has organised several collections of rubbish at beaches around the Island over the past six months.
He says the sessions have highlighted awareness of welfare wildlife:
