Client asymptomatic at time of their visit
An Onchan beauty salon has temporarily closed its doors after reportedly being visited by a client who has since tested positive for coronavirus.
Elements of Beauty says the individual was identified by the Island's contact tracing team, and was asymptomatic and unaware of their condition at the time of their visit.
In a post on social media, Directors Claire and Louise say they were advised the business could remain open, however decided to close to undertake a deep clean of the facility.
Meanwhile, the therapist who came into contact with the client has entered self-isolation for three weeks.
The business hopes to reopen 'when it is safe to do so'.
