The Lieutenant Governor says the Isle of Man's Beer and Cider Festival is proof of the Island's diverse economy.
Sir Richard Gozney opened the sixth festival at the Villa Marina last night (Thurs 6th), arriving on a double decker horse tram and sampling a pint of the special "Pullyman" ale.
The festival runs until Saturday evening and is expected to attract thousands of real ale and cider enthusiasts over the next 48 hours.
