900 unfilled jobs could spell trouble
Come to the Isle of Man to work, not retire!
That's the plea from Chief Minister Allan Bell as new figures show a record number of job vacancies - as well as increasing difficulty in filling them.
In September, around 900 posts at the jobcentre were unfilled.
Mr Bell says the opportunities are to be applauded, but if those posts remain empty, it could be a real headache:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
New board members sought for abattoir
