Congratulatory message sent from Isle of Man
A message of congratulations has been sent from the Island's Lieutenant Governor to the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh to mark their 70th wedding anniversary.
Sir Richard Gozney congratulates the Royal couple on behalf of the Isle of Man and pledges the continued loyalty of the Manx people.
The Queen and 96 year-old Prince Philip married in 1947 and today (Monday) celebrate their platinum wedding anniversary.
They will celebrate at Windsor Castle with family and friends.
