Later crossings remain at risk of disruption or cancellation
This morning's sailing to Heysham is expected to depart as scheduled, but there could be disruption later in the day.
The Steam Packet Company had warned the 8.45am service and return crossing at 2.15pm faced cancellation due to the weather, but the latest forecast means it will go ahead.
However, the 7.45pm crossing remains at risk, with the operator due to make a further announcement by 5.30pm.
