Dalmatian spotted after mass search
A missing dog who inspired a mass search effort in the east of the Island has been found safe and well.
Bentley the Dalmatian embarked on his 48 hour adventure after wandering off Enamona Road on Thursday afternoon - prompting a concerned friend of his owners to launch a social media appeal.
In a matter of hours, Bentley's Facebook page had almost 250 users on the case, and on the lookout for his return.
After an overnight search yesterday - and a degree of military precision - the canine was caught around the Ballagawne area in Lonan.
His relieved owner Louise Ellen is thanking the public for their help.
