Debate grows over future of services
Government says it will 'listen to people's needs' when it comes to reviewing child care provision on the Island.
Ramsey MHK and member of the Department of Education and Children, Lawrie Hooper, appeared live on Manx Radio's Mandate programme this morning.
Concerns have been raised about the rising cost of child care and the lack of nursery places on the Island.
In January, North Douglas member David Ashford claimed the shortage of nursery places acted as a barrier for parents looking to move over to the Island.
But Mr Hooper says it's important to understand exactly what parents need - and these residents in Douglas told Manx Radio what they think:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
New board members sought for abattoir
